Max's story
Max's story:
Max was adopted from a shelter in California.  His owners recently moved to the Stafford area.  They have found themselves with changed living conditions and need to find a new home for Max.  Max's owners asked us to help him find a new home but they are keeping him with them until we can find the right family.
Max is a probably a beagle/ pug mix.  He has that cute pug smooshy face and a beagley type body.  Whatever his mix, he is 100 % adorable.  He is about 2 and half years old and up to date on all of his shots.  Max is crate trained, leash trained and house broken.  He has been around other dogs and does really well with them.  He hasn't been around children much but we think he would be just fine.
Max is a bit timid and can be nervous when he meets people.  This isn't surprising.  The poor little guy was at a shelter in California, was adopted and then moved across country all within the last 6 months.  What he really needs is a patient home to give him some stability and a calm, caring environment.  Because Max can be timid and a bit anxious, a home with older, more mature children would be best.
Are you the perfect forever home for Max?
